Wyatt had a beard for the past couple months. It was a look I liked to call Winter Wyatt. It worked for him and got rave reviews from all but his dear mom who wasn't so fond of it. So, Terri these are for you! Your boy is back. I suppose he's Spring Wyatt now? Is this like a new version of Groundhog's day? Maybe if he hadn't shaved it would have meant 6 more weeks of winter.
Side View:
Try as I might, I couldn't get him to keep the sideburns.

GUEST STAR
Friday, January 18, 2008On Wednesday Jeff, Wyatt and I drove down to Philly to record Mike "Slo-Mo" Brenner playing some steel guitar on a few of our songs. For the uninitiated, Mike is a phenomenal steel player and has played with Songs:Ohia, Magnolia Electric Co. and Marah, among others. Not only is he a brilliant musician and tasteful as hell, he is also a super cool, nice guy and a musical mind reader!!! I swear. He was (at least) one step ahead of us with every idea we had. I can't say enough good things about the experience. Wyatt was incredible. He set up an Instastudio in the room we were recording in in like 15 minutes tops. Check out the pics. Also, check out Mike's band, Slo-Mo right here! It is proof that lap steel and hip hop can live in peace and harmony.

I NEED AN UPDATE
Has anyone been watching Celebrity Apprentice? I need to know how Gene Simmons is doing. I'm a fan of him, his sense of business and his progeny.

WELCOME!
Tuesday, January 15, 2008Welcome to the OFFICIAL (accept no substitutes) blog of Bel Air. We are Jeff Mensch, Wyatt Tuzo, Drew Kilpatrick, me (Allie Langerak) and announcing - Brooklyn's best bass player - Matt Hyams. This blog is basically a continuation of our former band Breakup Breakdown's blog. If you would like to check out those archives GO HERE! I'll probably be linking back to it often.
Anyhoozers, in the fall of this year we started recording and are now almost done with an album. We are booking shows for March. Check out some pics of us recording!
